Little Wild Wisdoms Goes International: From France to Turkey

Our illustrated poetry cards, Little Wild Wisdoms, are finding their way into new languages. The French edition has already been published by My Unique Story and is available to readers, while Turkish publisher METU Press has signed a licensing agreement with Clever Book, with publication planned for 2027.

For a collection that began as an original Bulgarian idea, this is an exciting new chapter.

A Little Bulgarian Wisdom in French

Written by Miloslava Abadzhieva and illustrated by Stella Stamenkova-Din, Little Wild Wisdoms combines short, thoughtful poems with expressive animal illustrations. The cards explore emotions, relationships and everyday experiences, offering little moments of reflection and humour for children and adults alike.

Our partner, Swiss publisher My Unique Story, has already brought the collection to French-speaking readers. Seeing the original illustrations accompanied by French poetry is especially rewarding, as translating verse means finding a way to preserve both its meaning and its charm.

Turkey Is Next

We're also delighted to announce a new publishing rights agreement with METU Press, the publishing house affiliated with Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. The Turkish edition of Little Wild Wisdoms is planned for 2027.

Each new language brings its own creative challenges, particularly when poetry is involved, but the growing international interest in these cards suggests that their combination of illustrations, humour and thoughtful messages can appeal to readers across cultures.
