Lilly Chick Travels Further: From Estonia to Turkey

Our little chick has been travelling! Following her success at the Bulgarian children's book awards earlier this year, Lilly Chick has reached young readers in Estonia, while a new publishing rights agreement with Turkish publisher METU Press promises more international adventures.
Created by author Maia Atanasova and illustrator Antoaneta Chetrafilova, the series follows a curious little chick as she discovers the world around her, makes friends and learns to navigate the everyday challenges of growing up.
Lilly Chick Finds New Friends in Estonia
Our Estonian publishing partner, DADA FUN, has introduced Lilly to local readers as Tibu Lilli.
With their warm illustrations, gentle humour and stories about situations young children know well, the books explore experiences such as starting kindergarten, making friends and dealing with unfamiliar situations.
Seeing Lilly speak another language is particularly rewarding, especially because the feelings and experiences behind her adventures are familiar to children everywhere.
Turkey Is Next
We are also pleased to announce a new publishing rights agreement with METU Press, the publishing house affiliated with Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
The growing international interest in Lilly follows an important achievement earlier this year. In 2026, Lilly Chick and the Kindergarten won Bulgaria's Bisserche Valshebno children's book award, receiving 220 votes from children aged 3 to 5.
We are delighted that Lilly's adventures are finding their way to more young readers, and we look forward to seeing where our little chick travels next.
